ALL EUROPEAN FINAL AT THE EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE, LUXEMBOURG ON 7 MARCH
2003
Law students who have made their way through a tough selection among 84
teams since September when the competition was launched will today plead before the
judges of the Court of Justice and Court of First Instance. The 84
teams represent
29 nationalities.
The teams who will be competing today are from the UK, USA, Sweden,
Germany, Poland and Denmark. They won their respective Regional Finals which were held
in January and February in Lisbon, Helsinki, Riga and Bratislava.
The Final is the last stage of this year's competition in the world's
largest Moot court in European law.
The winners will receive prizes, including internships with European Institutions or highly respected
law firms specialised in European Law.
